1. Quality Control & Auto-Publishing
Control when Sync-o automatically publishes updates versus saving them as drafts for human review. This balance is managed by the Confidence Score.
Auto-Publish Threshold (Confidence Score)
Sync-o calculates a confidence score (0-100%) for every update based on relevance and clarity.
More updates are auto-published. Best for internal wikis where speed matters.
Safer. Only very clear updates go live; others are drafted. Best for public-facing docs.
Draft Only Mode: Set the threshold to 100% to force all updates to be saved as drafts first.
To configure:
- Go to the Quality Control tab in settings.
- Drag the slider to your desired percentage (Default: 85%).
- Click Save Settings.
2. Notifications
Choose where Sync-o allows noise. You can toggle notifications for Confluence pages and Jira tickets independently.
Confluence Notifications
- Page Comments: Sync-o posts a summary panel on the updated Confluence page detailing exactly what changed.
Jira Notifications
- High Confidence (Published): Comment on the Jira ticket confirming the update with a link.
- Low Confidence (Draft): Comment on the Jira ticket asking for review of the draft.
User Mentions
Ensure the right people see the update by enabling mentions:
- Tag Reporter: @mention the ticket reporter.
- Tag Assignee: @mention the ticket assignee.
- Tag Page Owner: @mention the creator of the Confluence page.
To configure:
- Go to the Notifications tab.
- Toggle the switches according to your preference.
- Click Save Settings.
