1. Smart Hub Overview
The Smart Hub is your mission control for documentation inside every Jira ticket. It lives as a "Glance" in the right-hand sidebar of your issues, providing instant visibility into documentation coverage and quick access to powerful automation tools.
2. Documentation Status
Sync-o uses a "Traffic Light" system in the Smart Hub to instantly tell you if the current ticket is documented.
Scan not yet conducted, or linked documents have minimal relevance.
Linked documentation exists but has average relevance to this ticket.
Linked documentation is highly relevant and up to date.
Subtasks automatically inherit documentation coverage from their parent Epic or Story.
3. Related Issue Scan
Purpose: Use AI to find existing Confluence pages that should be linked to this ticket. Sync-o scans the network of related issues to find relevant documentation candidates.
How It Works:
- Scope: Scans Parent (Epic/Story), Subtasks, and Linked Issues (blocks, checking, etc.).
- AI Analysis: Verifies relevance using AI-powered analysis matches.
- Linking: You can review suggested Confluence pages and link them directly to the current ticket with one click.
4. Create Documentation
Generate a new, structured Confluence page directly from a Jira ticket. This feature uses your connected AI model (Gemini, OpenAI, or Anthropic) to write the initial draft.
New: Context & Prompting
Take full control of the generation process:
- Prompt the AI: Give specific instructions on how to structure the document or what to focus on.
- Select Context: Choose related tickets to feed the AI additional background information.
5. Complete with Sync-o
The "Complete with Sync-o" wizard streamlines your definition of done. It is designed for developers to close tickets efficiently while ensuring documentation is never missed.
- One-Click Workflow: Triggers via the ticket's "More Actions" (⋮) menu.
- Auto-Scan: Automatically scans for related docs.
- Action: If candidates are found, you can "Link All & Complete". If no docs are found, it transitions the ticket to Done immediately.
6. Audit History
View Verification History: The Smart Hub tracks every scan and linkage event.
You can view the complete logs for all actions in the App Settings page. This includes who triggered a scan, which pages were found, and their relevance scores.
